I haven’t had a lot of time to knit, but here’s what I’ve done so far on the project I cast on last week! I’ve added a row of lace every 12 rows for a bit of interest đ
I know a few people said they loved the colour… I’m sorry but I think it’s really boring! I just don’t like to knit with neutrals. But the pattern (Martina Behm’s 22 Little Clouds) is fabulous and the yarn feels nice to knit with and my friend will love it. So on I knit đ
I like the idea of adding lace rows. It will be so pretty with the ruffle edge. I’m a fan of Martina Behm’s designs — finishing up Brickless now, and just added Clouds to my faves. đ

I love her designs too and I’m not generally one for changing patterns but the yarn I’ve chosen makes following the pattern precisely hard. Kidsilk Haze is not a yarn that happily takes to increase 1 or make 1, which is why I added the yarn on & overs along the spine so a lace row seemed the next sensible step!

Thanks for enabling – I hadn’t noticed this pattern before. The ruffle is very cute and I like your adaptations.

What I love about Martina Behm’s patterns is that they are intrinsically simple but very different to other things that are available, easy to knit and fabulous to look at! đ

Yeah, I haven’t knit any yet but I’m finding them increasingly appealing…
