This weekend I trucked on with the owl blanket, finishing all the colour work. For the blanket I need 9 owl squares, 4 squares with large colour centres and 12 with small colour centres. The photo above is the large colour centres, and the one below the remainder of the small colour centres.
I finished one square as well:
In between that I did some gardening and some housework, spent some time visiting with a friend who is over from the US and of course watched Eurovision. Some friends came round and Mollie wore a union flag to support her namesake Molly the UK entry….
My friends Sam & Josh gave me this fabulous bunch of flowers for hosting our Eurovision party:
I also popped in to Homebase for slug pellets and came away with a couple of these, which were being sold off for £2.93 each and I think are really jolly:
Yes a busy but fun weekend!
Lovely photos of your crochet. I’m quite green with envy but with 3 knitting WIPS and my African Flower cushion I can’t warrant a spare owl blanket.

I can let you have the mods to the pattern if you like? I must admit I’m pleased with it. I think it’s a combo of the colour, the yarn & pattern. 😃
