Yarn Splurge

On Sunday when I was reading blog posts I came across one from The Knitting Goddess about a yarn sale she was having. Now I LOVE her yarn and drool over it quite often. I’ve bought previously for something specific, but when I saw some of the lovely things she had in the sale I decided to have a splurge! The parcel arrived today and it’s even better in reality…

Firstly kid mohair. I have always loved Rowan Kidsilk Haze but this is nicer. 2 skeins of each in:

Raspberry semi solid:

Lime semi solid:

Yellow semi solid:

I love this acid yellow colour!

Then two socks yarns. A blue with a sparkle:

And a ‘same difference’ split skein in Neon:

I love the idea of these – they have the same colours in but a different colour is more dominant in each skein, meaning socks match but are different.

And finally, I think my favourite buy, 2 skeins of a tangerine silk mix 3 ply. Perfect for a shawl!

I have absolutely no plans for these, I’m just glad to own them!
