Patterns, lovely patterns

Last week, feeling poorly and not much like knitting, I found myself browsing the Deramores site. Other online stores do exist of course, but I found myself there because of the Scheepjes CAL, which I blogged about here. (I may have led other bloggers astray on this one……)

Resisting more yarn, I browsed the Sirdar patterns. I’ve mentioned before that I really like them because, in my experience, they’re really well tech edited, they’re true to size and they provide the level of knitting challenge I want in a garment. My nine year old niece is now an adult size 10 (We’re a tall family), 30 inch chest: too big for children’s patterns, just too small for others. So I picked this which I thought would be fun to knit:

And of course, while I’m there, and it’s 4 patterns for £10, I had to choose some more! These three all coincidentally come in LARGE sizes, so who knows I might make one for myself (or buy the wool and give it to my Mum!).
