FO: Await shrug

I worked on the ribbed border!

I started the cast-off, which is unusual and I was skeptical about – it was K2tog tbl, yo, lift first stitch over second, leaving one stitch, move that stitch back to the left hand needle, and repeat to the end – but I was proven wrong, it is nice and stretchy!

So now I have this!

I am saving the Ta-dah for when I can get someone to model it for me. 🙂

And in other news THESE arrived. Oh yes, Knitpro Karbonz DPNs and circular needle starter kit.

  2. Wow!! On both counts! The colours of the shrug are just pure eye candy. How bright and cheerful is the wearer going to feel! The cast off stitch pattern looks perfect – don’t you just hate ribbing when it has no give in the cast off. Your dpns and cn kit look most exciting – this is a toolkit for a serious knitter! 🙂

  3. wow, that came out so pretty! It is like looking at the sunshine of a vacation day, huh? I need to knit some cheerful colors. I find the orange thing I am working on brightens my day so much more than my two blue things. I have to remember this next winter. 🙂
