Back in September I asked if any of you lovely people were willing to help out making some knitted eggs for an Easter Egg hunt my work are arranging this Easter.
I work for the Church of England Diocese of Bath & Wells who are based in Wells around the Cathedral. My colleague Jane is the Children, Families and Early Years Advisor and every year organises some event that children can take part in during Lent.
This year it’s the Easter Egg Hunt! Read the diocesan article about it here.
Between us all we made 40 knitted eggs! Each of the eggs have been stuffed, sat on a special little egg cup and had a word representing or reflecting the period of Lent attached to it.
Everyone was impressed we had a Norwegian Fairisle contribution Hege!
These are now in shops around Wells ready to be found by eager young egg hunters.
If you’re local, entry forms are available from the Wells Museum!
Thank you again for your help ladies!
