I’m making DOILIES Lucie. If you call them mandalas I will go off them. They’re gifts because I have friends who will like them. Annoying it’s also the first time my husband has ever admired something without being asked…

So sweet! Do you fasten the ends (with a needle) as you go or do you have a secret technique for avoiding fastening all of them afterwards…? I never managed to do many granny squares due to the “needle work”… Hege

I darn in the joining end as I go and then sew the end in as part of finishing off the row. I can’t be dealing with hundreds of ends! Xx
