Today is my last day here before D and our friends arrive for our long planned holiday. So today is probably the last day I can sit and knit ALL day! It has been gorgeous. I took a photo of my favourite tree I can see from the balcony to try and capture the glorious colour of the sky!
I started this morning with this:
And finished at 6pm with this, all 60 rows of the stocking stitch completed, ready to start the lace:
What has fascinated me about this yarn is the colour. From a distance it looks like a neutral pinky taupe, but look:
I included both of the above to show how the colours look in the sun and just in ordinary light. It is also gorgeous to work with, although the silk content does cause a bit of pilling. Obviously my stocking stitch needs blocking!
You always work with yarns of beautiful colour shades!!! Tell the truth, you have a magic wand hidden in your bag!!

As always the yarn is beautiful. I agree with Tajana, you have some magic to you that attracts these pretty yarns.

Actually I knit quite slowly, and I have quite an awkward style too – I just do it a lot! I do love blogging, everyone I meet is so nice. Xx
