I’ve been working on the Mica Mitts and I finally finished them yesterday!
I’ve got to sew the ends in, block them and get my niece to model them (the recipient has small hands!) and then I’ll post a finished photo!
And yes Maxine they ARE feather and fan. And I still don’t like it!
Nice! And I like how they go with everything you are doing. 🙂

I love the way feather and fan stuff LOOKS. I don’t like knitting it.

Glad to see there may have been a cocktail in the mix? Cocktails always help me finish my own mitts… Among other things.

It was Madeira. I discovered when on holiday I liked it! And my sister gave my Dad a bottle of 10 year old medium dry so it would have been rude not to!!

They look great! I am not very good at knitting with double pointed needles but maybe I need to give it a go again.

But a short circular! I only use DPNs when I absolutely have to!

They look great 🙂 I’ve just finished a pair of mitts for one of Eldest Mudlets’ friends …… my first ever knitted on dps. Will do a post for after Christmas, as is a surprise gift 🙂 x

Their beautiful. Reminds me to dig mine out the drawer and actually wear them.

They came out looking great. You would never know that you and the stitch pattern are at odds. Truly a professional work of textile art.
